MNN. Feb. 22, 2013. <\/strong>The Infinite Elder \u201cRed-X\u201d found the Secret Instruction Manual on \u201cStealing Indigenous Resources\u201d. Here are some of the colonial strategies.<\/p>\n

A Red-X disguise.<\/p><\/div>\n

Colonial Dirty Trick <\/b>#1: Call it \u201cdemocracy\u201d, 51%, and you will keep control. Organize fancy cocktail parties with open bars, colonial big-wigs like the GG and other heavies, and pretty girls to entertain whoever they need to. Give the band and tribal councils tiaras to try on and a taste of \u201clife in the fast lane\u201d.\u00a0 Get them too drunk to notice they\u2019ve sold out their people.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

CDT <\/b>#2: Outnumber the Indigenous 3 to 1. Keep them away from their home. Red-X said, \u201cHold them meetings at home in your tipi, longhouse or condemned bungalow with the cracked window panes and asbestos contaminated floors and walls\u201d.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

CDT<\/b> #3: Put out colonial law as if it\u2019s Indigenous.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

CDT #4: Collect, horde and keep information. Put out lies, false history and myth making. Create new \u201cIndians\u201d that will go along with the land and resource giveaways that don\u2019t belong to them [CAP].<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

CDT #5: Put some heavies at the table, with big titles, long resumes to confuse everybody. Give scripts to the band council to read that they don\u2019t understand.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

CDT #6: Use hierarchical criteria with the colonists setting up at the front.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

CDT #7: Offer a concession to bowl over the Injuns. If they fuss, throw the chair back and leave the table. Take the bribe money with you.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Don’t have to listen to this.<\/p><\/div>\n

CDT #8: Say, \u201cWe ain\u2019t playing with you bad Injuns anymore\u201d.\u00a0 Walk out to keep control.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

CDT #9: Use \u201cgood cop\u201d \u201cbad cop\u201d strategy to throw those Injuns off balance. [They\u2019re all bad.] Threaten them with illegal injunctions, jail time and law suits. Then sidetrack them with \u201cCointelpro\u201d charm. Move the meeting place and don\u2019t tell them where.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

CDT #10: Break them into 2 groups and meet them separately. When they complain, leave.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

CDT #11: Targets are needed. Demand one speaker, not different ones every day. Otherwise, pick up the toys and leave.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

We’re going.<\/p><\/div>\n

CD #12: Stuff colonial side with \u201cknow-it-alls\u201d to intimidate them. They\u2019ll keep saying this is their land, they are sovereign and call the colonists trespassers. Walk out!<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Red-X advises, \u201cTry not to barf!\u201d<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

How to counter Dirty Tricks: report daily to community, select new negotiators each day; don\u2019t allow private \u2018tete-a-tetes\u2019 for making secret deals; international law requires a neutral 3rd party mediator approved by both parties.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t fall for \u201cinterim measure\u201d, \u201cagreement-in-principle\u201d, \u201cinterim land withdrawal\u201d, which don\u2019t meet international law standards and don\u2019t make sense.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Injuns, you’re not supposed to leave!<\/p><\/div>\n

As Red-X said, \u201cThey can never be Ongwehonwe! We must use our natural world strategies against these beasts\u201d.<\/b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Red-X wonders who wrote this manual. It reminds him of the Monotones song:<\/b>Book of Love<\/a><\/b> \u201cTell me, tell me, tell me, oh, who wrote the book of love? I\u2019ve got to know the answer. Was it someone from above?\u201d<\/b>\u00a0\"all<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n
