MNN. Mar. 2, 2013. <\/strong>The following quote does not advocate the burning down of anybody\u2019s house. It\u2019s an expression of rage against the system of brutality that has been forced on the Indigenous people. Arihwakehte says, \u201cIt happens to have the word burning in their context as a symbol of bringing down a system \u2013 burnin\u2019 pollution \u2013 band council \u2013 burnin\u2019 illusion \u2013 voting and policing and redistribution of wealth and power [looting]\u201d.<\/p>\n
