HUGO CHAVEZ, EL LIBERTADOR

MNN. Mar. 6, 2013. In 2007 President Hugo Chavez held a large conference of Indigenous people in Caracas Venezuela. The MNN Editor attended. So did Vernon Bellcourt of AIM and others. We stayed in a 5 star hotel. Top officials mingled with us daily. The Venezuelan dynamic socialist movement was proudly displayed. They had returned to the natural path that was always there for everyone. Chavez and his people accomplished so much without a war or global interference. beret

The last days of the colonial system are at hand. Venezuelans had suffered for hundreds of years from military and civilian dictatorships. Local and global forces held them and their resources in economic bondage. Chavez helped free his people from the clutches of the International Monetary Fund and US Corporate greed. 

The new society is based on peace, power and righteousness, the natural law in action. Predatory capitalism is on its way out. 

Chavez headed the Social Democratic Agenda that built an egalitarian society from the ground up. Regional federations of Communal Councils dealing with local issues were set up. Billions were distributed to these Councils. State of the art health centers were established throughout the country. Literacy jumped to almost 100% in a year. After building safe and healthy environments the people could chose to put their money into the “National Development Fund”.   

Using the oil funds, the economy was taken out of private control, giving the people controlling shares. Energy sectors and public utilities, drinking water and fresh air were top priorities. Social structures were reorganized. All officials, economy, finance, banking, transportation, security and public safety had to be transparent. 

Distribution of national wealth is the foundation of the economy. Science and technology has to benefit all people. Education, health, environment, biodiversity, industry, quality of life, financial sectors, including banking and insurance, has to conform to the Bolivarian social philosophy of equal distribution to all. 

Chavez created an innovative musical education program called “El Sisterna”. 500,000 children from all strata of society are trained at more than 120 centers. More than 200 youth orchestras have been formed. Training in music is known to develop math skills in the young. 

For years Venezuela donated 40 million gallons of heating oil to the indigenous and poor of the US.

This movement will make US and Canada irrelevant. Colonial nations are on the edge of fascism. Corporatism, nationalism and the delusion of an almighty-directed capitalism based on military force are openly fighting to stay alive. Sour grapes Prime Minister Harper offered condolences, saying he hopes, “the death of Chavez brings a more promising future for the Venezuelan people”!! He knows his coffin wouldn’t be surrounded by a tearful populace in an epic farewell.

Chavez is no longer here. His vision is. He lead the opposition to Western influence in the region. President Evo Morales of Bolivia said, “Chavez is more alive than ever”. Chavez and five other South American leaders were infected with various forms of cancer. Some are in remission. The most vocal and dynamic died.

Bankers Bamboozle

MNN. Mar. 5, 2013. International law provides that we are to be fully informed and consulted on anything that happens to our sovereignty, land, resources and funds. Canada has our ever growing Indian Trust Funds. These funds come from leases, rents and royalties from our land and resources. Canada put it into the Consolidated Revenue Fund for the benefit of all Canadians, without our permission. Our money was and continues to be used to build Canada.

Trustees [our sell-outs] will be illegally appointed for us to hold our land and money and make all the decisions for us. Our land will be put into “trust” companies run by the banks. Our money will be used for the benefit of the bankers and a few of their corporate Indian trustees and band and tribal council operatives. We will have to buy services we are legally entitled to, like health, education and safe drinking water. **

Canada’s corporate Indians are their fronts. Amendments to the trust agreements can be made behind our backs between their appointed trustees and their corporate band councils and the banks. 

Trustees will be appointed to buy lands on a willing seller-willing buyer basis. Some of our stolen money will be used to buy back some of our own stolen land! This sounds like win-win for them and lose-lose for us. We can’t buy our own land! 

Fee simple is the imperial land tenure system. It’s a foreign rip off  put all of the land into the hands of a few bankers to do with as they please. They can sell the land without our consent or any benefit to us. We will have to pay taxes to the bankers for the land we retain and anything built on it.

In true democracy, we need two-thirds or the support of two out of three clans. Their tainted vision of democracy is a quorum of 50% plus 1 so they can buy the majority.

MNN. Mar. 2, 2013. US Senator Lindsay Graham admitted that 4,756 people were killed by armed unmanned US drones. Currently aimed at people in the Middle East, he said, “Sometimes you hit innocent civilians”. Collateral damage! Obama’s policy of assassinating Americans and designated “terrorists” abroad, without trial or due process, has historic roots. The US has a long history of passing laws to commit “legitimate” murders. Millions of Indigenous were officially murdered to steal Great Turtle Island and our resources.

The custom in Europe was to behead enemies. The Europeans passed laws here to pay bounty hunters to kill, behead and scalp ‘Indian’ men, women and children. 125 million Indigenous were murdered in the Western Hemisphere. The victims were innocent. No crime was required. Just being of the Indigenous “race”! Cash or Indian head coins paid for our heads. Today’s US 5 cent piece with the Indian head was designed to honor this program. First it was just the heads. The volume of murders made the load too heavy. Then scalps were accepted to make sure the killings continued. history genocide 

We were falsely stereotyped as blood-thirsty savages. Settlers thought it was right to kill our families and drive them from their ancestral homes and steal their lands. Payment for Indian heads and scalps created wealthy entrepreneurs and families who are the ruling elite in US and Canada today. 

Governor Kieft of New Netherlands made the first payment for Indian scalps in the 1660s. By 1702 Massachusetts offered $6 for each Indian scalp. In 1756 Governor Morris of Pennsylvania offered “130 Pieces of Eight [type of coin] for the Scalp of Every Male Indian Enemy, above the Age of Twelve Years”, and “50 … for the Scalp of Every Indian Woman”. Today’s genocide is disguised as Bill C-45 and other Admiralty statute laws to eliminate us “legally”. 

Massachusetts increased its payments to 40 pounds for a male, 20 for females and children under 12 years old. It was difficult to tell a man’s scalp from a woman’s, or an adult’s from a child’s – or that of an enemy from a peaceful Indian. Bounties lead to widespread violence against any Indigenous person, male or female, young or old.

MNN. Mar. 5, 2013. Panic is setting in? Prime Minister Harper’s inner circle is cracking. Queen Beatrix and the Pope ‘resigned’, him over covering up the crimes of his priests. Queen Elizabeth suddenly comes down with vomiting and diarrhea and lands in the hospital. The hierarchy is collapsing in upon itself. Canada is in a hurry to put the final nail on the coffin they made for us, in a desperate attempt to try to get our resources and funds by eliminating us. They are brazenly going for it! We’ve seen these serpents slithering underneath. Their media continues to create misinformation and fear of us to turn the world’s public opinion against us.

Ezra Levant of Sun Media called protesters “terrorists” committing crimes against Canada. He said, “It’s dangerous enforcing the law, especially against Mohawk Warriors who dress in camouflage, carry an assault rifle, some of whom have served in the Canadian or U.S. military.” lying press

Lorne Gunter, of Sun Media, belittled the treaties with the Crown and particularly the “Two Row Wampum” which is the basis of all valid treaties on Great Turtle Island. He ignorantly called it “rubbish” and asked, “How come non-aboriginals largely paid for both canoes and do most of the paddling in each too?”

Christie Blatchford, of The Star Phoenix and National Post, belittles  us at every chance and hopes we are doomed. She asks, “whether there’s enough of aboriginal culture left to even dream of that lofty status [legal nation to nation relations], … Smudging and drumming do not a nation make.”dekanawida talks

LEONARD PELTIER

MNN. Mar. 2, 2013.  Why is Leonard Peltier still in jail, since 1977? He is a 68-year old Lakota prisoner of war. We need to help get him out.  

Peltier, a former member of American Indian Movement AIM, is the longest incarcerated person in the US. He is in Coleman Prison Florida. He was convicted of aiding and abetting the killing of 2 FBI agents in 1975. Life sentence is 7 years. He got more than 5 life sentences, violating US laws.

Native Elders, Pete Seeger, Harry Belafonte, Peter Coyote and others held a concert in New York City in 2012, to give President Obama a message to, as Peltier said,  “Turn me loose”. 

Says Peltier, “I never got a fair trial, international laws were violated, racists sat on the jury, I had no defence, evidence was manufactured and witnesses were tortured”. The weapon tests showed negative. Judge Haney said, “There is no evidence of first degree murder. No one knows who killed the agents or what he had to do with it. But somebody has to pay for this.” 

He wants release or house arrest as he needs medical attention for a number of ailments, “I am willing to wear an ankle bracelet”. 

Peltier continued the message.

At the time, murders were committed on Pine Ridge, financed by the government, with intelligence, armored piercing ammunition and sophisticated weaponry. Violence began when US agents  arrived carrying guns and started shooting. All the deaths were needless. Congressman Tim Johnson of North Dakota has promised to investigate this. 

Peltier symbolizes that US society is held together by force. We cannot be free if we are being threatened with violence, such as fines, jails, confiscation of possessions or denial of rights, due process and death. 

International law was violated when they failed to recognize his nation and its jurisdiction. He was denied a hearing before an impartial third party and was tried by one of the parties to the dispute, the US justice system. Peltier was imprisoned for defending the families and people. “I stood up for my people to stop the Termination Act. I did nothing, let alone kill somebody.”  

A fundamental principle of survival is that anyone who is attacked has a right to defend themselves. Good decent people of the international community need to stand with us. We will all be stronger if we respect each other’s autonomy. As Bon Scott sang in gone shooting: “Feel the pressure rise. Hear the whistle blow. Never said bye-bye. All the cryin’ eyes.”

MNN. Mar. 3, 2013. Today Queen Elizabeth is being served with documents finding her, the Pope and Canada guilty of genocide [International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State]. She cancelled a trip to Rome and has gone into the hospital.

She is vomiting and has diarrhea. Looks like big movements are going on in the highest levels of international corporate power. Both she and the Pope are in the advanced stage of the “Owistah” disease.

One of the biggest prizes is slipping through their grasp, Great Turtle Island. Our territory has more fresh water than any country in the world. The US Midwest will soon be a desert because of the misuse of our land and water. They want to drain our Great Lakes, connecting Lake Michigan to the Mississippi River. We have not been consulted nor asked to give our consent. 

The European oligarchy and monarchies have not been able to take over the roots of Onowaregeh Great Turtle Island. We are resisting. They realize they have to kill us one way or another. Their entities running their corporations in Canada and their trained puppets are falling apart. The Queen just could not take it, especially losing her grip on our ever-growing Indian Trust Fund. It has been paying the Queen, Pope, World Bank, International Monetary Fund and the banking families in Europe for centuries who have been able to live without working ever and to pay for the continuation of war. 

We Indigenous are all naturally placed in various parts of our mother for a reason, to guard Great Turtle Island from these serpents. Mohawks are on major water ways and lands these powers need to carry out their agenda. We look east, to watch the enemy coming from that direction. Our people in the west, north and south look out for the serpents coming towards them.

They want to get rid of this lien [the Indian problem] that we have on all our land and resources. As long as we stand firm, they can’t complete the rape and control of the world. We are closing the door to these foreign usurpers and they know it.  We could be witnessing the last Queen and the last Pope, the end of hierarchy.

I started to get their mailing for a couple of years. That’s as close as I came to child pornography.”!! “What’s wrong with pornography, in the sense that it’s just pictures?” He was relieved of his duties as advisor to the government and major talking head on CBC. Guys like him once ran the residential schools death camps.

Pedophile friendly Flanagan thinks he knows how to target us. He is the chief architect of current assimilation policies of Indigenous people. In his book, “First Nations? Second Thoughts”, he plans out how Indigenous are to become ordinary Canadians, without anything. Everything will be privatized. We will pay taxes to the oligarchs, like everybody else. The final theft of our land, resources and ever-growing Indian trust funds will be absorbed by the oligarchs.

Flanagan forms the right wing Conservative Party mindset that is committed to genocide. This policy is the back bone of the orders carried out by the band and tribal councils and provincial and territorial organizations. These betrayers are a major part of this plan. These corporate Indians have raised little or no objections.  They are the main betrayers among us who are protected by the enemy, well-paid soldiers in our opponent’s army.  

They are harming us. Our ancestors dealt with traitors like this. Those who knowingly work against us and harm us have alienated themselves. They forfeit all birthrights and claims on our nation and territory. The charge is treason. Formerly the penalty was death.  

How long can the betrayers enjoy the material fruits of their betrayal? How do their families feel when they realize that their family member is helping to carry out the genocide?  

Betrayal is breach of trust that we will never accept. Not honoring treaties is betrayal. We have strong feelings of intense indignation, contempt and revenge. We call them snitches, deserters, defectors, sell-outs, who are loyal to the enemy. 

There is no way back. There will be a purge of those who collaborated with the enemy?

The Government of Canada is the trustee of First Nations Trust Accounts which today contain many trillions of dollars. From that is many billions of dollars a year interest. For 150 years Canada has been receiving, holding and spending it without our knowledge or consent. This money comes from the exploitation of our land and resources which we never surrendered. The 1907 law declaring us as non-persons is no longer in effect. You do not have the power of attorney to do as you wish without our permission. The government has no legal choice but to turn our trusts over to us, the Indigenous beneficiaries. 

As a beneficiary to the trust, I demand full payment of my share of the Indian Trust Funds, also called First Nations Trust Accounts. Also, as a shareholder, I am informing you that Canada does not have my permission to take my trust funds by declaring me as a “Canadian” citizen against my will. Furthermore, Canada cannot move or spend any of my trust funds without my permission.

So that Indian Affairs doesn’t administer my funds, I demand that my share of the trust funds be placed with a trustee that I have appointed. If possible, I prefer to have my portion of the Indian Trust Fund delivered in gold bars because it comes from Mother Earth, Onowaregeh.

MNN: POLITICAL PARANOIA

MNN. Feb. 28, 2013. Political paranoia is being considered a mental disorder. Those who question everything and especially conspiracy theorists, are considered to suffer from political paranoia. Every social disaster or political movement has its loonies: Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot. Jim Jones, Duncan Campbell Scott, Steven Harper, Tom Flanagan, Crusty the Clown, Federal Court of Canada, etc. What conditions have to exist before the paranoia is believed? As soon as it appears on mainstream TV or media, everybody believes it. If it’s not, they don’t believe it. Take the test to see if you are paranoid.

1. My blood boils when I see Stephen Harper on the news.

2. I wince when I see the Stars and Strips or the Maple Leaf flag on Indian cars.

3. I cannot listen to Indian radio stations without becoming enraged. The cherry picked opinions of the band and tribal council or their non-native employees make my blood boil.

4. A sign objecting to the casino has been sitting on my lawn for the past 10 years.

5.I avoid speaking my mind because I am afraid I might get called down or get an egg thrown on my car.

6. I don’t believe everything the band and tribal council says is the gospel truth.

Conspiracies, a dime a dozen!

Conspiracies, says who!

7. I believe Homeland Security, CSIS or RCMP may be listening to my phone conversations. So I use an obscure dialect for code, like Mohawk.

8. I am against an individual ownership society.

9. I use traditional herbs to treat all sicknesses, even my political paranoia.

10. I avoid speaking to anyone in authority, even the grocery store cashier.

11. I think that Senator Brasseau, Shawn Atleo [AFN], the Pope, the Queen, the CEO of DeBeers Diamonds, Tom Flanagan are biased. 

The Great Law instructs us to question everything. According to this quiz, It looks like most Mohawks would be considered politically paranoid. The Great Sage Red-X says, “The prescription to this perceived illness is the one mind, Onigonra””. 

Can't get away from it!

As the Kinks sang in Destroyer: “Feeling guilty. Feeling scared. Hidden cameras everywhere. Stop! Hold on. Stay in control. Paranoia, the destroyer”.
