MNN. Aug. 13, 2015. In 1994 the Longhouse asked me to run for chief against Joe Norton in the band council election to stop the casino. He was set to bring it in which the people did not want. He needed to win the referendum being run at the same time as the election.

To avoid compromising themselves the traditional people decided not to vote for in the band council election but only against the casino. Our way of decision-making is the clan system where we openly discuss the issues in public. We don’t have secret ballots with pretend artificial characters to make pretend deals. We only go forward when we become of one mind.

On election day longhouse people came in large numbers to vote against the casino. At 6 pm the polling stopped in the gym in the karonhianonha school. The Indian Affairs officials and two selected council officials ushered people out the door to start counting the votes. They could not start as they were waiting for something.

This is not new!

Same old, same old. 

In a class room behind the gym toward the back door two spies for the people were hiding. They saw a truck drive up. A box that looked like the box where all the ballots were dumped was brought in. The box with the real ballots was brought out of the gym, taken away, loaded onto the truck and gone. Then the box with the dummy votes was taken into the gym and counted. Joke Norton and most of his nominees won! The referendum votes couldn’t be fixed and the casino was defeated.

In Canada the most important elections are the band elections. It is the fraudulent matrix set up to steal our land and resources to pay for Canada’s existence.

In 1985 I was working in Indian Affairs in Ottawa. I was appointed to review the piles of appeals from band elections throughout Canada. In most I found them to be irregular and had been tampered with. I recommended that either another election be held or they be investigated. If Indian Affairs liked the one that got in, they were allowed to stay. If not, another election was called. Otherwise nothing was done. These small crucial communities were easy for them to manipulate, just like every other election.

We thought we had gotten rid of a bad guy here in Kahnawake. Now twenty years later he comes scampering back to haunt us, just like the bad guys in “As the World Turns”.

Now his partner is running for President of the US. It looks like the Donald is behind the false face running Kahnawake, and eventually all of the Rotinoshonni communities in Canada and US.

Joe never mentions the kaianerehkowa, the Great Peace, in any public statements. “Joke  Norton” is trying to municipalize us, as per Canada’s 1924 business plan. Joe knows that every living thing on ono’ware:geh is ours, rocks, water, minerals, trees, oil gas and so on. Admiralty courts cannot make a declaration on this. MNN. AUG. 7, 2015. Quebec is once again trying to force their colonial jurisdiction over the kanion’ke:haka [Mohawk] tobacco industry. They are trying to eliminate the Mohawks as competition in the tobacco trade. The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake Inc. MCK pretend to resist while trying to regulate us on behalf of the CROWN. We are not to participate in the tobacco business, which the government want to totally control so they can charge $10 a pack. Tobacco is the most important medicine on ono’ware:geh.Quebec tries to ban cigaret sales Kahnawake.

The CROWN tells their incorporated INDIANS they have to replace the funding from Indian Affairs who stole our Indian Trust Funds. They want the council to regulate us and then collect taxes from our businesses and then from everything else, to totally assimilate us.

The MCK gives a false impression that they are protecting our rights to do business. They have been told to take control like Haudenosaunee Development Institute Inc. HDI is attempting at Six Nations. In 1997 the Onondaga council of chiefs tried and failed to work out the same deal with New York State to control businesses in all our communities. Our resistance lead to the military operation known as the “Indian Detail”, which is now proceeding in NYS court.

Canada is not a legal country as defined by the 1933 Montevideo Convention on the Rights and Duties of States. There’s no language called “Canadian”. They use England and France’s languages and continue to occupy our land. They masquerade Canada as a real country to the world. US and Canada know we will never submit to anyone.

MNN. JULY 15, 2015. Our proud young people stood up to the powers that be. The Haudenosaunee under-19 women’s lacrosse team withdrew Thursday from the upcoming FIL U19 Women’s World Championship in Edinburgh, Scotland. The corporatists say our Rotinoshonni-issued passports are not valid because they do not meet their corporate standards. We, the natural people of our land, need a colonial passport for international travel. This is illegal and immoral as we ongwe’hon:weh are not Canadian or American colonial settlers.iroquois passport

 

In 2010 Rotinoshonni sovereignty drew worldwide media attention when the U.K. would not allow the Iroquois Nationals men’s lacrosse team into its borders without Canadian or American passports. They withdraw from the tournament rather than use a corporate imposed identification. In 2014 in Denver they participated and earned the bronze medal because it took place on ono’ware:geh, Great Turtle Island.

 

The colonialists would not wish others to know that we had a sophisticated system of issuing passes to those who would enter our nation and territory. We gave them a special name in our language to use when traversing among us. Other systems existed for those who wished to remain.

The Rotinoshonni issued passports in 1923 when Cayuga statesman Deskaheh went to Geneva to apply for membership in the League of Nations. Canada, a colony, had no right to be a member. Britain created underhanded pressure on the nine nations [Estonia, Ireland, Persia, Panama and other sovereign states] that supported us. Britain illegally made all indigenous people worldwide into wards of the colonial entity occupying their land.

The corporations of US and Canada do not want to respect the rights of the legitimate non-incorporated natural people of our land. Our identification does not meet the corporate requirements of the CROWN/Vatican to issue banking numbers.

Canada is violating an international treaty by breaching the 1701 Great Peace of Montreal, making the colonial settlers illegal occupiers on our land. The tehiohateh – Two Row – is the most brilliant piece of diplomacy ever devised for nations to live in peace perpetually.

These women stood up for freedom, dignity and integrity as a model for the world.

Bob Marley, the international traveler, would so admire these women. He would sing, “Get up, stand up, stand up for your rights”.

MNN. July 13, 2015. The Canadian Army sent their “special ops” into Kahnawake to march in the Grand Opening of the Echoes of a Proud Nation Pow Wow. July 11, 2015, is the 25th anniversary of the Mohawk Crisis of 1990. We were blatantly shown that Kahnawake is still a Prisoner of War Camp under army jurisdiction. They oversee the imprisonment of our people and help to carry out the “final solution of the ongwe’hon:weh [INDIAN] problem”.

The incorporated Mohawk Council of Kahnawake headed by Joe “Jean-Brebeuf” Norton is part of this façade. Special ops are trained killers prepared to use deadly force. Indian Affairs is a division of the Canadian army and is run from their “war room” command center on the 14th floor at 10 Wellington Street, Ottawa Ontario. The Royal Van Doos  brazenly showed off their red berets [obscene on this occasion]. The message from the band council is they still follow the orders from the generals on the 14th floor. The Aboriginal Response Team was merged with CSIS in 2007. In Canada the only people that wear the red berets are the military police.

The “Indian Detail” for using deadly force against us is being flaunted here. The rest of the world is on to Canada’s ongoing genocide against us which they will continue until we stop it. The people of the world have to support us to end the evil that is Canada. The CROWN must be charged along with anyone who swears an oath to them for the crime of genocide.

JULY 12, 2015. At the dawn tobacco burning in the Pines of Kahehsatake, a vow was reaffirmed that we would always protect our mother. In 1990 our land, nursed to beauty, as is our way, the Kanion’ke:haka [Mohawks] was as ever coveted by Canada’s elite for a golf course, a playground. We resisted. The SQ came in with guns blazing. Then the RCMP followed. Then, as their system dictates, the Canadian army, the Royal Van Doos was sent in. All “INDIAN” communities, being sovereign nations, are regarded as Prisoner of War camps by the CROWN. The blood flowed.

At the foot of the Mercier Bridge leading from Kahnawake to Montreal, our people stood to commemorate one bloody event among too many. The significance of this act is that all ongwe’hon:weh have the same mind, respect of the mother and the duty to protect her. The European way is to exploit and destroy her.

25 years later at the Kahnawake “Echoes of a Proud Nation” Pow Wow Grand Entry about 20 Royal 22nd Regiment [Van Doos], invited by someone, paraded in the Grand Opening.

We remember the Van Doos spat, insulted, beat, stoned, stabbed, shot, imprisoned, tortured not the least children and killed…. murdered ongwe’hon:weh elders.

How is this possible, in what world? We are a free and sovereign nation. They are our enemy. It can only be the oldest game. Our vast Indian Trust Funds, our land and resources could make the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake Inc. get into bed with the Van Doos. The changes being masked by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission are to maintain the genocide. We resist every day. 25 years ago was a part of that.
