MNN. 10 July 2015. A meeting of those of us clients dropped by the lawyers, the lawyers for the other ongwe’hon:weh, the NYS Attorney General’s office, met at G. Nugent’s office [not the INDIAN hater Ted] in Syracuse. It was about the NYS Attack in Onondaga in 1997. [See video]

We went to interrogate his client, one of the New York State Troopers, who was charged and wants to come clean about the “Indian Detail”. 14 of the 100 targets from all Six Nations of the Iroquois Confederacy Rotinoshonni were dropped by the pro se lawyers because we refused to take the cash settlement offered by NYS to drop the case against of hundreds of Troopers and NYS. As Judge George Lowe previously reported, if this case goes to court, they [the ongwe’hon:weh] will win. He advised NYS to offer us money so they can continue to get away with genocide. On May 18, 1997 we were having a ceremony and a feast on private ground near Interstate 81. Also, we were going to talk about various topics, in particular the agreement signed between the Onondaga Council of Chiefs Ind. and NYS to charge illegal taxes on our products. The highway was not blocked. 75% attending were women and children.

The appearingly remorseful sargeant was nervous. The two lawyers still involved in the case, were trying to dominate everything that happened in that room. Someone from the NYS Attorney General’s Office listened and took extensive notes.

We finally got a chance to ask a few questions. “When were you called to show up for the Indian Detail?” He answered, “at 11:00 am the day before May 18th”. He admitted there was extensive preparation for this attack. Then we asked, “What is an Indian Detail? Is there an “Italian Detail”? “A Chinese Detail”? or “an English Detail”? He answered, “No. there is only an Indian Detail”. We asked what preparations are made for an Indian Detail? “We have to assemble all our equipment – rifle, ammunition, bullet proof vest, tear gas, pepper spray, shield, baton”, and so on, all meant for deadly force. The Troopers were ordered not to wear their name badges, which, he said, is illegal.

In one of the NYSP videos, the commander instructed the lineup of Troopers just before the attack, “Make sure you take out the right one [or ones]!” The sargeant said he did not know about this.

The man from the Attorney General’s Office left the room to make a phone call. He returned and asked the sargeant a few questions. Then he turned to us and asked us to submit in writing within a week a list of our demands to stop this case from going to trial. We said we needed at least a month. So a deadline was set for August 10, 2015.

TRC USING SOUTH AFRICAN “WHITE WASH” MODEL

MNN. 8 June 2015. The majority of White South Africans take no responsibility for apartheid, though they are the main beneficiaries. Over 40% think apartheid was a good idea, but badly executed. Canada’s “INDIAN reserve” system was the model for the apartheid system. Today the vast majority of South African Blacks are more impoverished, even more since the Truth and Reconciliation Commission TRC hearings in 1996. They can now buy clean water and electricity. A few are wealthy. TRC denied trials of the colonial corporate butchers who committed genocide. Instead they got amnesty. Apartheid-signs

TRC did not address the collective loss of dignity, opportunities, systemic violence, stolen land and resources, denial of education, and the role of corporations that collaborated with and made money from the brutal apartheid regime. Forced removals are deemed to be legal.

In 2008 when TRC started in Canada, the conservatives changed their laws to protect their businesses and their accomplices so they can keep stealing our resources, destroying our environment and removing protection for us. They are trying to renege on their debts and keep illegally occupying us. They want to oppress us by no jobs, no education and no money. We demand total control and profits from our lands and resources, as the agreements between free and sovereign parties would mandate.

If nothing else, the CROWN was found to have committed “cultural genocide”. Those who took part and benefitted or who didn’t actively resist will be charged in an international venue. TRC nailed the whites and their INDIAN helpers, who betrayed us, sold us into slavery, helped murder our children, allowed corporations to torture us and kept it all secret. They’re going to jail.

Many White South Africans glorify their apartheid past. 60% feel that victims of gross human rights violations should not be compensated. For stable development and to maintain social order, detention of political prisoners is necessary. Also whites should have economic control. TRC FAILED.

TRC was a sell out to the CROWN! South African Blacks have no economic power and no ownership in major corporations. Illegal land ownership continues. Well-armed policemen attack and imprison protestors who are fighting bread and butter issues. Strikes abound. Social and health services are denied. Indian Affairs Minister Valcourt remained seated at that final TRC spectacle in Ottawa. In effect he said, “I am the master. When I call you, you will come in front of me and kneel down.” He tried to maintain the fraud of his power by an old Pavlovian tactic. We see through their lies.

We are not wards of the corporation of Canada. TRC appears to be planning to split our money and resources and control our land with a few of their INDIANS, who will illegally speak for us. We will fight you. In the meantime, pay the ongwe’ho:weh for every plot of land you illegally occupy and everything else you’re stealing and have stolen from us.

It revealed Canada’s excuse for their practice to erase, disappear and rob us of everything. They are trying to say they are better now and so we must forgive and forget, but no justice. This is how genocide is made legal, eg. Palestine.

It’s an injustice commission offering candies and beads. The obscene dishonesty is proved. Trying to erase us involved violence, threats, forbidding languages, cultural ‘genocide’, rape and murder of women, sexual abuse of children – trying to create a subject people. We refuse to be complicit!

INDIAN DETAIL: FROM ‘PRO BONO’ TO ‘PRO SE’

MNN. May 16, 2015. “Pro bono” are free lawyers. “Pro se” are those who represent themselves. The “INDIAN Detail” military attack on Rotinoshonni at Onondaga was eighteen years ago. The “pro bono” lawyers had a winning case. Instead they decided to negotiate a financial settlement to drop the charges. 16 victims out of 100 refused to take the money and wanted a trial. Judge Wylie Dancks allowed the lawyers to drop them as clients, “I let the lawyers drop those victims who refused to take New York State’s money because I follow the law”?? “Remember”, said the judge, “this is a really big case!”

On May 15th, 2015, only one “pro se” victim was invited to the private Syracuse court discussion on the forthcoming trial. The judge suggested this plaintiff not attend and would phone if something important came up. Only the lawyers for all parties would have been there to make decisions. The other lawyer-less plaintiffs heard rumors on Facebook and showed up. Throughout the judge reminded the victims that the money is there and the charges can still be dropped.

One “pro se” reiterated, “I want to talk about how my nation was attacked by a foreign entity, my father was murdered and my ceremony was trampled upon”.

The “pro se” group asked many questions. The judge laid out the rules of the game: “Look at my direction of April 4”, “You’ll have to read everything in those boxes of disclosures”. “Where’s the statement about Ronald Jones and his wife” [he was murdered shortly after the attack and his wife died]. “Why didn’t one victim not make a deposition” [she’s almost 100 years old, doesn’t speak English and can’t travel!], so the judge let her off. She ordered another lawyer to send more stuff like copies of all the videos of the attack. There’s a truckload on the two cases that NYS Troopers already lost. One “pro se” said, “You sent me disks and I don’t have a computer”. Wylie Dancks suggested, “Go to the library and use their computer”. The former “pro bono” lawyers have copies and transcripts, which the victims have to pay for. Now another box of stuff is being sent to each “pro se”.

The judge ordered, “I will not have Mohawk spoken in my court room!”. One plaintiff asked, “Who were the people responsible for what happened to us?” The judge said, “Read docket #149!”

'I firmly believe in the right to a speedy trial.'The judge continued: “By September 11th we’ll do this; by September 25 we’ll do that; we’ll make more discoveries; October 3 we’ll have some more motions; on Nov. 6th other documents can be added; after that we can talk to each other by phone or in court; by New years eve we could have a summary dismissal [she hopes]. Otherwise, jury trial starts in 2016 [which will go on for a year], unless something ‘extraordinary comes up’, [like we might be so hopelessly confused we’ll drop the charges.] The victims of the INDIAN DETAIL were treated to “American exceptionalism”. MNN. Apr. 26, 2015. On May 15th a trial date is being set for the case, Jones v. Parmley. Eighteen years ago hundreds of New York State Troopers brutally attacked the Haudenosaunee at Onondaga Nation near Syracuse during a peaceful tobacco burning ceremony. The public was invited to learn about our opposition to the illegal trade and commerce agreement between NYS and the Onondaga chiefs.

 

NYS Judge George Lowe had advised NYS to avoid a trial because we would win. He urged NYS to offer us a pay-off. 13 of us refused the money and were dropped by the lawyers. Now the trial must proceed. We have to represent ourselves.

A big box of files and disks arrived. The interrogations and disks reveal criminal activity. The Onondaga chiefs and NYS Troopers worked together to plan “Operation Indian Detail”. They set up the arrests with pre-signed blank arrest warrants, lethal weaponry, a list of Rotiskenraketeh targets to be “taken out” and a system of informants. This is the tip of the iceberg.

The NYS Police Investigator and Surveilance head, Dennis Blythe, worked closely with the Onondaga chiefs for 12 years to set up this genocidal attack. NYS Governor Pataki was kept informed on a daily basis.

The Troopers alleged that the 1st Amendment right to freedom of speech does not apply to INDIANS!! The decision which they lost.
