Canada’s Finance Minister Jim Flaherty and his wife Christine Elliott Flaherty recently sold their partnership in their law firm in Whitby, Ontario. Flaherty always got income from his firm while finance minister, though they say they are not involved in any of its business!!  

Flaherty continues to hold a one-third share of 1012713 Ontario Inc. that owns the former Whitby Public Library building that houses his firm. Flaherty’s ethics report shows that he and his wife no longer list ownership of a Yacht Club condominium unit.

He reported owning a rental property in Honeywood, Ont., since 1997, about an hour northeast of Toronto. The estate has his multi-million dollar mansion and golf course right on Kaniokehaka lot 1 concession 11 claimed two years earlir by a Mohawk family. Records show the couple paid $299,000 for the lot and uses it for a “family cottage” they just started renting out.

In 2010 this exact claim was discussed in the Ontario Legislature.MPP Gilles Bisson on Mohawk land claim in 2010.

Mrs. Flaherty owns shares in public-traded companies without putting them in a blind trust, so that her husband can do the same. Ministers cannot trade stock but their spouses can. She has shares in corporations, the Bank of Nova Scotia, Leons Furniture, Ann Taylor Stores, BCE, Pengrowth Energy and the RBC Global Precious Metals Fund.

Also she has shares in Legacy Private Trust Company, whose chief executive is a family friend, James B. Love. He chairs the board of the private Royal Canadian Mint, of which she is a board member. Love recently advised clients — the descendants of former Conservative prime minister Arthur Meighen, — to move money offshore to avoid Canadian taxes.  Love is also on the Minister’s Panel on Canada’s International Tax System. MNN. Nov. 25, 2013. 80 members of the Cree Nation of the isolated Attawapiskat community on James Bay in northern Ontario have been suddenly flown out. The women, children, babies, elders and men have been placed in motel rooms in Kapuskasing. Nobody knows for how long. Their government-provided clapboard houses have burnt down. In the meantime the employees of DeBeers are nearby digging out diamonds from their land and living in state-of-the-art houses. attawapiskat house

Chief Theresa Spence went on a hunger strike a year ago to resolve this issue. The issue received worldwide attention. Nothing changed. Millions of dollars rolled in and disappeared. On December 30, 2012, the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs announced that by the end of 2012-13 fiscal term, the federal government will have spent $131 million on Attawapiskat since 2006, including the construction of 60 new and renovated houses. What houses? A new school was built!

Where is our money? Stolen, of course! The invaders and their hangers-on took our funds and resources. The corporate elite responsible for this devastation built multi-million dollar mansions on our land. Right now over 40 multimillion dollar mansions are on sale in Montreal’s upscale neighborhood in Westmount. They are advertised in the Montreal Gazette. The following is one of the mansions. They all sit on Bear Clan Mohawk Nation land. The asking price for this particular house is $10.8 million. You can be sure the owner did not lift a finger to earn it.

MURDER AT MEGANTIC

MNN. 8 July 2013. On Saturday morning, July 6th, a bomb wiped out the center of the town of Lac-Megantic [Quebec] on Mohawk Territory. Over 60 of the French settlers for whom we are responsible were murdered and ‘disappeared”.

According to the Great Peace of Montreal 1701 is under the protection of the Constitution of the Council of the Great Peace. We have a duty to protect all living things. We demand a full investigation of this criminal act of the multinational corporations. Montreal, Mine & Atlantic Railway Ltd., was hauling 73 substandard tankers and locomotives carrying toxic crude to Irving Oil in Saint Johns New Brunswick for the US market. Every train that goes through our towns and villages is loaded with enough ammunition to create a “war zone”. 

The train was parked in Nantes. Nobody was in the locomotive. The engineer had locked up and gone to sleep at a nearby hotel. At 11:30 the brakes of one locomotive was mysteriously released. It caught fire and billowed smoke. The fire department was called to put it out. The remaining cars were not checked. At 1:00 am. the remaining cars started moving directly downhill into the Lac-Megantic town center, about 11 kilometers away. A a social gathering was taking place. The train sped toward them, careened off the track, came to a stop near the middle of town and blew up like an atom bomb. The people and town centre were incinerated. The poisons ran into the lake. 

This is war in Quebec!

Canada ships $73 billion in oil to the US every year, passing them through our towns and villages. Environmental regulations are constantly being removed and/or sidestepped. More shipping of crude oil is planned for the east and west coasts. 

The railroad tankers used in US and Canada are old and dangerous. By deregulation they don’t have to be replaced. Even more unsafe pipelines are being planned. Someone would have a strong motive for releasing those brakes. We Indigenous people should oversee any investigation of such criminal acts on our land. 

Foreign corporations normally cover their criminality by paying off all the corrupt politicians and law makers. They look for perpetrators before picking their “patsy”. The victims are forgotten. We will stop the destruction of Mother Earth caused by their toxic economy. These railroads, pipelines, roads and waterways are creating ecological destruction on our land. We are all at risk.   

There must be an immediate ban on transporting all war materials across Onowaregeh/Great Turtle Island. It violates the Council of the Great Peace, the law of the land. As Jimi sang in “House Burning Down”: “Look at the sky/turn a hellfire red. Somebody’s house in burning/down, down, down, down. Our Mother Earth is instructing us to protect her from corporate Canada’s murder and rape. The “Idle No More” movement to stop Omnibus Bill C-45 is gaining worldwide momentum.  They too are listening to our Mother.

enazblingC-45 removes indigenous people and takes our land and resources to establish a dictatorship of the bankers.  Parliament provides the illusion of freedom to the masses.  Their band councils in our communities are being staffed or trained by “Nazi” agents. Distress and crisis are being created to declare martial law.  Arrests, torture and death are here.  Our concentration camps called reserves are under strict surveillance and control [Indian agents]. 

Non-Natives can steal our land through a legislated voting fraud set up by this illegal bill.  Funds for education, health and other essential services will be dissolved.  Everything is being transferred to provinces that have no responsibility for us.  Our education funds will go to non-native schools to assimilate and brainwash our children.  

Our constant marches and flash mobs are alarming Harper’s banker bosses in the City of London.   

We are all victims. When the masses turn their backs on the genocide, they are complicit in it.  Theresa Spence of Attawapiskat has been driven to this point of desperation where she may soon die of hunger. She could ask the Indian Act band councils to step down and forego their obedience to their colonial masters, or be banished from our communities to live with their corporate puppeteers. 

These well paid traitors and liars are helping our enemies try to tear us apart. Close them down!  Let our people go! Our law provides that their voices and that of their children are never to be heard from again.  As Chief Seattle said in 1896, “Man did not weave the web of life, is but a mere strand.  Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself”.  

The real revolution is spirit evolution.  To start it we must respect each other, other nations and all creation to bring peace and harmony to us and the world.   

Canada controls our stolen funds.  We won’t take up arms.  Flash mobs can appear on highways, railways, rivers, canals, at the headquarters of the multinational corporations that steal our natural gas, oil, minerals, logging and creates infrastructures to rape our Mother.  

As Karonhiaktajeh said, “People with fighting spirit shall not become casualties of psychological warfare”.  

When the Men declare martial law in our communities, our traditional fire will be rekindled.  The Great Law of Peace is our natural way.  Not artificial like banks and corporations.  We will be equal in voice and authority, to defend every member nation. Our Mother’s resources shall be shared fairly.  The foreign corporation of Canada will be dissolved and everything will be returned to us. 

The deplorable inhuman conditions in our communities will be removed.  May the superior, dedicated and good minds come forward.  If they don’t standup, who will?  Our supporters will not be inconvenienced.  We need you.   

We will stand the tree back up for all to see, that true peace still exists here. There will be one more war on Great Turtle Island, the people against the bankers.  No children will be bombed.  The attack of the predator bankers will be repelled.  

homelandOur Mother is pushing us to rise up.  We defend and thank her.  Harper, our death knell can never be sounded.
